Peacham Tanker 1

small logo

Peacham Tanker 1 is a 1989 Ford L8000 that was refurbished in 2003. This tanker has a 1500 gallon capacity water tank and a front mounted 750 GPM Darley pump. The primary purpose of this truck is to carry water and large diameter hose to teh scene of a fire. This truck responds on all fire calls.

The chassis and pump from "old Engine 1" and the poly tank from "old Tanker 1" were both reused to make this truck.

Portions of the body including all cabinets were either rebuilt or fabricated new. New equipment was installed, some of which -- like the hydraulic ladder rack -- was designed by the department to reduce the chance of firefighter injuries.
